Sophie Goodfellow

Immigration Paralegal  -- se habla español

Sophie is an Immigration Paralegal in our Scranton office where she provides comprehensive support to clients seeking immigration benefits including U, T and VAWA.

Sophie’s passion for social justice, immigrant rights and community are what fuel her work. She worked for an unaccompanied minor refugee resettlement program in college, and traveled to Las Juntas, Costa Rica to study Nicaraguan immigrant access to healthcare services. And, in Makewe, Chile, Sophie researched the effects of western medical practices and political ‘Chilenization’ on Mapuche indigenous healthcare.

Sophie graduated from Lehigh University with a Master of Education in Comparative & International Education. She started her professional career in immigration, working in higher education with international students on F and J visas.

Sophie collaborates closely with organizations in the Northeast PA area and builds trauma-aware practices within her work.
