Jessica is the operations manager and legal assistant in CJP's Pittsburgh office.

Jessica is a trained print reporter and worked at daily newspapers in New England and Scranton. She left newspapers during the industry's transition from print to all-digital and for a few years studied independent online news start-ups and media policy. 

​

She has a bachelor's degree in communications-journalism from Cal Poly Pomona and a paralegal certificate from Community College of Allegheny County. She is an AmeriCorp VISTA alumni and also worked on the communications team of a major labor union organizing campaign in Pittsburgh. 

 

Jessica has a longtime interest in access to justice and completed the paralegal program to change her career to legal aid work.

Jessica is on the board of the Pittsburgh Paralegal Association.
