Jenny is a paralegal who does outreach to the immigrant community, as well as language access and mobile home advocacy in Hazleton and Scranton areas.
Jenny graduated from King’s College in May 2013. As a Mcgowan Scholar, she volunteered for four years in the McGowan Hispanic Outreach Program as an aid to the ESL and citizenship classes. She will be graduating with my Master’s of Social Work (MSW) degree in May 2019 from Marywood University. As a graduate student at Marywood University, she has completed and international field placement in Embu, Kenya during the summer 2018 with the goal to initiate the development of a human resource center to meet the changing and growing needs of a county experiencing growing rates of homelessness. As a Graduate Assistant (GA), I worked under the supervision of a faculty member, to study local Latino family’s experience with public education in Northeastern, PA.
