Immigration

CJP provides assistance for immigrants regardless of their immigration status or country of origin.  (Leído en español.)

In all practice areas, we take on cases which provide assistance for immigrants.  We also do direct outreach to Hispanic communities in cities with large Hispanic populations.

We provide direct immigration legal services in the following areas in our Reading office:

Citizenship services

Renewal of work permits

U-visa

U-visas are temporary visas available to victims of crimes and their immediate family members, who have been abused and are willing to assist law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of the crime.

T-visa

T-visas are temporary visas available to victims of trafficking who are willing to assist law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of trafficking.

VAWA

VAWA visas are permanent visas available to non-citizens who were abused by their spouse, child, or parent, if the abuser is a U.S. citizen or, in some cases, a Green-card resident.
